As the Marketing Lead for BAAD!, I spearhead all marketing initiatives for the organization, including its flagship production, Los Nutcrackers: A Christmas Carajo. Written by Charles Rice-González and directed by Chris Rivera, the play interweaves The Nutcracker and A Christmas Carol into a queer, Latinx story about a couple embarking on a psychedelic journey through their lives one Christmas Eve. This year marked its 21st anniversary at BAAD!
For this recent project, I designed and executed all marketing collateral, including postcards, programs, social media assets, and media buys. I developed and implemented a comprehensive promotional strategy and marketing plan, effectively engaging the target audience while honoring the play's cultural significance. Additionally, I crafted the press release, coordinated a professional photoshoot to capture the production, and managed print production with an external vendor, ensuring all materials adhered to the highest quality standards and deadlines.
